Danielle Lacasse
President
Danielle has enjoyed a long career in the federal public service, where she held senior positions in various departments, including Environment and Climate Change Canada, where she was Director General, Policy, Planning and Partnerships for the Meteorological Service. She holds a PhD in history from the University of Ottawa, where she also worked as a lecturer. A resident of Cantley for over twenty years, she has in-depth knowledge of the territory and the environmental issues facing the municipality. In addition to participating in several citizens' groups dedicated to protecting the region's natural heritage, she is also involved at the community level, notably with organizations that help women and children who are victims of violence.
